Tampa Music Festival November 13-14th, 2004

Solfege Entertainment Group, in conjunction with (the Museum of Science & Industry), is hosting the 1st annual Arts, Eats & Beats Music Festival November 13th & 14th, 2004.

This is a two-day, family-friendly music festival. Enjoy food from your favorite local restaurants and live music, experience the style and flavor of Tampa while browsing a dazzling display from Tampa's finest artisans.

A variety of singers, dancers, bands and other artists will perform from 10am-7pm Saturday and Sunday.

Given MOSI's recent focus on becoming a festival venue for the Central FL area, and its convenient location from the USF campus, MOSI is a great place for Tampa or Florida based talent to showcase their talents.  It will be an all ages audience, with performances covering a wide variety of genres being held throughout both days of this event.

MOSI is a non-profit organization and is working closely with Solfege Entertainment Group to support the Tampa Bay musicians & artists and trying to bring the art and music scene to a new level in this area.  This is a fundraising event to increase exposure for the museum and to provide exposure for the artists.  This event is being promoted heavily to a captive audience on the USF campus and to the 12K museum membership base.  This event is also being promoted to all local print, tv and radio media outlets.

This event will feature solo artists, musicians and bands covering nearly every genre with both covers and original music.  Given the need for an event of this nature in the Tampa Bay area, that it has a low ticket price ($5) and that it is for a good cause, we anticipate a very favorable response.  We will be featuring some of the area's hottest new up and coming acts and encourage all musicians, singers, artists and other performers to bring their friends and family to help support this event and your fellow musicians.  It is sure to be a great day of music, food and fun for everyone.
